Stephen Flahavan, died peacefully on Monday February 25th, 2019. Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Lillian & adoring daughter Stephanie Flahavan. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Sunday March 10th, 2019 at 2:00 pm, Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1721 Hillside Dr. Burlingame. Committal prior at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma at 1:00pm Friday, March 8th.

     Mary Cassar was born on 26 July 1928 in St. Paul's Bay, Malta.¹ She married Victor Ciappara, son of (?) Ciappara, in 1955. Mary Cassar died on 5 December 2013 at age 85. She was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, San Mateo Co., CA, USA.
     As of 1955,her married name was Ciappara. She was a member of the Maltese American Social Club and was Helped with remodel of new Club location, 1997-1999; a talented carpenter in 1961.
Obituary: on 8 December 2013: Mary Ciappara Was the second of nine living children born to Louis and Josephine Cassar on July 26, 1928 in St. Paul's Bay, Malta. After experiencing the horrors of WWII, the Cassar family immigrated to London, Ontario, Canada where she was courted by her longtime friend from Naxxar, Malta, Victor Ciappara. They married in 1955 and the newlyweds moved to San Francisco where two years later they welcomed the first of four daughters. Mary passed away peacefully on December 5, 2013. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, parents, eldest and youngest brothers Frank and Tony and sister, Doris. She is survived by her daughters, Maryann (Jeffrey Milla), Louisa (Bill Fossett), JoJo/Josephine (Steve Lombardi), Angelique (Mike Teupel), grandchildren Brendon, Carlyn, Taylor, Eric, Nina, Victoria, Benjamin, Kristen, Matthew, step-grandchildren Daniella and Trinity, and great-grandchildren Valentino and Athena. Our heartfelt thanks to her loving caregiver of over three years, Anna Carter. Mary maintained a keen wit and great sense of humor to the very end. Time to make the angels laugh, mom.¹
