She was preceded in death by her parents Angelo and Carmela Scerri of Zabbar, Malta, and her eldest son, Hector of Merced. She was raised in Malta and married the love of her life Reno In 1943. In 1951 with her husband and three sons, Hector, Gino & Paul she came to the U.S. making Her home in San Francisco. In 1964 she was blessed with her daughter and son, Carmelina and Albert. In 1977 her husband's employment brought her to Merced where she made her home and raised her family. Grace dedicated herself to her family whom She loved very much and to St. Patrick's Church where She attended mass daily with her husband Reno, and loved reciting the rosary daily with her friends. She also enjoyed weekends at the family ranch in Santa Rosa, tending to her beautiful flowers, plants and fruit trees at her home.
Grace is survived by her loving husband, Reno of 67 years, her daughter Carmelina (Scott) of Merced, sons, Gino of Merced, Paul (Patty) of Vacaville and Albert (Olga) of Merced. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren whom She adored and who equally adored her: Susie Schoenfeldt, Nikko Turk, Jennifer Hicks, Maria King, Michael Gauci, Tasia Gauci, Montana Gauci, Elizabeth Gauci, Katalina and Camille McKee, Anthony Gauci & Donald Gauci And 15 great-grandchildren, Brent & Brianne Schoenfeldt, Cassie Gauci, Sophia Adams, Antonio Adams, Brandon Gauci, Riley Gauci, Jesus Reyes Jr., Chelsey Hughes, Star King & Smitty Rice, as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives in the Bay area, Malta & Australia.
