Marie Dolores DeBono passed away on March 20, 2016 in her Elk Grove home with family by her side. She was born on August 19, 1940 in San Francisco, CA, to Vera Salido Maher, and Richard Francis Maher. She is survived by her loving husband married 57 years, daughter, and husband, daughter, son, grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by their son Steven in 1996. Penny grew up in San Francisco and later relocated to San Mateo and Cupertino. She graduated from Mercy High in SF in 1957. Married in 1958 and raised their family in the Bay Area. An avid Giants fan, she enjoyed many family vacations in Lake Tahoe and Austin Creek. Penny worked as a accounting clerk for over 21 years.
