Obituary: on 14 May 2016: Julie Leider-Galea passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was 54 years old.

She grew up in Hillsbourgh, CA attending the Hillsbourgh schools and went on to Burlingame High School where she graduated in 1980.

After traveling and attending college she settled down in Burlingame, CA where she had three sons. For the last 15 years she has been happily living with her loving partner, Ray Todisco. Julie was a person who loved life and she showed that in her courageous fight against cancer this last year and a half. Her love and compassion for her family and friends will never be forgotten. Julie's beautiful smile and laughter will be forever remembered and missed.

Julie is lovingly survived by her partner, Ray Todisco and her sons; Cody Chirolo, Nicco Chirolo and Conner Galea. She is also survived by her siblings; Janice Leider-Mallette, Jeff Leider, her father, Charles Leider, her nieces; Katelyn (Clay) Heisler, Amy Anstrom and her grand niece and nephew Andrew and Ella Heisler. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Leider.
