Ken passed away peacefully at the age of 55 with his loved ones by his side. He leaves his family and friends missing his hilarious antics, BIG personality, and loving heart. Ken was born in San Francisco to Marian and Joe Cauchi. He graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 1981. In 1988, Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Cal Poly State University and his Master's degree in 1997 from California State University, Sacramento.
He was Head Freshman and Sophomore Basketball Coach at James Lick High School for the 1990-91 season and enjoyed working the summer Iowa Hawkeye basketball camp at the University of Iowa between 1990-93. For the past 19 years, Ken worked in telecommunications for AT&T, most recently as an Equipment Engineer. Ken married his wife, Susie, on May 5th, 2007, and was proud dad to his step-daughter, Alayna, and twin sons, Joey and Michael.
Ken lived large and was known by many as a genuinely funny guy who loved to make others laugh. He had a passion for the finer things in life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Some of his favorite pastimes were watching and coaching his kids' sports, volunteering in his kids' classrooms and attending fieldtrips, woodworking, smoking fine cigars, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, swimming in his new pool, attending church, remodel projects and making household repairs.
He loved helping kids succeed in life and was honored to be godfather to several. He was known by many of his step-daughter's friends as their "adopted" father. He was a very empathetic person who has brought great comfort to loved ones in their time of sorrow or need. Ken is survived by his mother, Marian Cauchi; wife, Susie Cauchi; step-daughter, Alayna Cauchi, 22; twin sons, Michael and Joey Cauchi, 8; brothers, Steve Cauchi (Sheila), David Cauchi (Renee) and Ron Cauchi (Elisa); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, godchildren, in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved father, Joe Cauchi. A memorial service and celebration of life for Ken will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00AM at Hope Point Nazarene Church, 600 N. George Washington Blvd., Yuba City, CA 95993 with a reception following at the same location.

Nathaniel was recently promoted to Scheduling Manager at Apple Computer in Sacramento, California, where he has worked since 2002. A trust fund will be established for Nathaneal’s daughter Emily.
