He loved books, opera, bread baking and pizza parties using his outdoor forno. He was a fine wine maker and won many awards for his zinfandel. He loved the sea and all things Italian. He was a champion putterer who could fix almost anything. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter, Shannon (Tom) Ross, son, Sean (Katie) Micallef, former wife, Kathie, step-children: Susan (Bob) Gavrich, Katie (Lance) Womack & Richard Price. Beloved Nanu to Fiona & Amelia Ross and Morgan & Roane Micallef. Adored grandfather to Lucy Gavrich, Bryn & Cooper Womack. He was a kind, patient and caring person who will be greatly missed by his sisters, Carmena Yates & Theresa Gaddini, his cousin Bob (Karen) Micallef, many nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and legions of friends.
